Welcome,

I am a recent graduate from Mount Royal College with an Applied Communications – Electronic Publishing degree. I work as a part-time freelance web developer from my home in S.W. Calgary and I am currently seeking full-time employment or long-term contract.

The City of Calgary webWave intranet project was my most recent contract position. My second Directed Field Studies position was at the college as a Web Analyst in the Information Technology Services (ITS) department. My first Directed Field Studies was a freelance creative position in a real estate office. These positions allowed me to utilize my graphic design skills and knowledge in website development principles to gain new experiences in the exciting information design field.

Key skills applied to a position with your company include:

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Extensive exposure in the web development industry

Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals

Educated in the latest pre-press techniques

Several years experience in administrative roles

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Create a typographic solution with hot colours

Create a silhouette using split complementary colours

Two photos are halftone, one photo is entirely PMS colour. Text is black. Match the swatch to the Pantone colour chip provided

Two photos are a complementary colour, and one photo is the original PMS colour. Text should be the complementary colour. Match the swatch to the Pantone colour chip provided.

Using the same layout, you can change the colour of the photos to whatever works best. You need to use all of the text and all three photos.
